In crisis time, typically the most affected businesses are the small to midsized ones, as those are the types that can least afford to suffer. Thus, the money spent on putting together a crisis plan in place, is never a waist of time, or money - "as some would consider" - people do not truly understand the real value of such a plan until they get there, but sometimes getting there, is a place of no return.

That said, back up plans are always a good choice, and practically cheap ones, when looked at from the right angle.
Also, training your senior and junior people the right manners is the first step towards a strong business that could stand the storms.
