Posted - 02/09/2009 : 18:55:59 Dear fellow translator,
A few days ago someone posted a translator job using an e-mail address of mine for you to contact them if interested in the job.
Please allow me to clarify that I am not a translation agency, I don’t work for any translation agencies either, at least right now. I’m just a translator, like you.
You got my e-mail address from www.translatorpub.com, I had never visited the site. Actually, I learned it existed after you wrote to me.
I only registered on this site to see if I can find out something as to why my e-mail was used here to post that alleged translation job related to videogames.
I’m really sorry because, as a translator, I know how valuable your time is, and I’m definitely want and deserve to find out how this happened.
Nobody from this website has answered to me regarding this matter. So if you see my e-mail again linked to a job offering, just let me know if you can, because this is really annoying and wastes our valuable time.
You guys from the site!!! Do something to fix this. I'm being overflooded by e-mail messages because someone is using my Hotmail address for job contact.
Kind regards,
Eduardo D. Lopez
